There are hundreds of instruments in the world, producing various pitches, tones, and chords. There are three main types of instruments: wind, percussion, and string. The sound is produced differently based on the type of instrument. The first type of instrument is a string instrument. In a string instrument, the sound is created from the vibration of strings. For example, when you play guitar, you pull on the strings. As the strings vibrate, the air molecules start vibrating as well, producing sound. The next type of instruments are wind and brass instruments and are made when we blow sound into them. The shape and position of the instrument affect the overall tone and pitch. Link Link Summary: This week in class we were learning about elements of the periodic table. To learn more about this topic we are making a baby book about the element that we chose. The element that I picked was Molybdenum. I decided on this element because the symbol (Mo) is the first, and last letter of my whole name. We are making this baby book on google slides. The name Molybdenum means "lead" in Greek. This is because many people confused molybdenum with lead.  It is the 42nd element in the periodic table. This mean that there are 42 protons in the atoms that are in molybdenum. Each element has a different number. That is why it is a "special" number.  Molybdenum is used in aircraft and missile parts. Astronauts discovered molybdenum on the moon!
